Emitech is a well-known and recognized player in the field of equipment qualification or marketing in Europe (CE marking) and worldwide, Emitech is located on 16 sites in France, 5 of which are located in the Ile de France region.
Since its creation in 1989, Emitech has quickly pushed back the walls of its site located in the Paris region to grow its CEM, radio and security laboratories. Its development then spread to the rest of France on the occasion of the CE marking coming into force and then again near Paris to welcome its activities in climatic and mechanical environments.
Over the course of its growth and acquisitions, Emitech has broadened its range of skills and know-how.
Each subsidiary has its own centre of excellence, like LEFAE, which has just joined the Group and is one of the world leaders in the field of aeronautical fire tests.
The founder and Chairman and CEO of Emitech, Matthieu Cognet has initiated a strategic development plan for Emitech 2020 based on the roadmap set at the creation of its Toulouse centre. Starting from a blank sheet of paper, it was a question of proposing on a single site all the resources to offer a complete service.
This progress plan aims to reinvent the Emitech Group's industrial base in order to strengthen its coherence. It is fully applicable on the Bourgoin-Jallieu site (near Lyon) where its subsidiary Environne' Tech has just built an 800 m2 extension designed to strengthen the local offer for nuclear industry players with new solutions linked to earthquakes.
It now applies in Ile de France, where the Group's activities are undergoing a complete reorganisation.
As a result of this reflection, Emitech has just acquired a 6000 m2 building close to its historic site. Like the work carried out in Toulouse, this new centre will bring together the skills of the various sites in Ile de France according to the specific needs of each sector. For example, in order to offer a global service to the automotive division, this centre will combine the dedicated EMC test facilities and the climatic and mechanical facilities formerly located in Versailles-Satory. The engineering and training services are also on this new establishment located avenue des Trois Peuples, less than 400m from the historical headquarters located at 3 rue des Coudriers.
Launched before the summer holidays of 2017, work is progressing rapidly and the first tests are already planned for early November. The official inauguration will take place in the first quarter of 2018 once the renovation work for the existing premises has been completed.
