The Emitech Group, recognised for its test bench design and engineering services, is a leading test laboratory in the fields of environmental, functional and EMC testing. Its test centres offer comprehensive testing in the automotive sector, covering electronic components, vehicles and powertrains of all kinds: internal combustion (ICE), micro-hybrid and hybrid (MHEV, PHEV), electric (BEV), and fuel cell (FCEV).
ALEE - Alliance of European Test Laboratories GmbH, located in Eppertshausen in the district of Darmstadt, is a technical service designated by the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt, the German authority responsible for the type-approval of vehicles and their components, thus playing a central role in the type-approval process.
As part of this cooperation, tests on vehicles and their components will be carried out at the Emitech Group's test centres, offering comprehensive support thanks to the wide range of services offered. ALEE, as the European alliance of test laboratories, will assume responsibility for type approval and will work closely with the type approval authorities to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
The scope of expertise includes type testing of batteries for electric vehicles in accordance with UN ECE R100 and R136 regulations, as well as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing in accordance with UN ECE R10 regulations applicable to all types of motorised vehicles.
"This partnership with the Emitech Group is an important step in expanding our services and strengthening our position as Europe's leading testing and certification provider,’ says Stefano Mastrogiovanni, Managing Director of ALEE. ‘The combined expertise of our two organisations will enable us to offer our customers an even more comprehensive and efficient service."
Stephan Lassausse, Managing Director of the Emitech Group, says: "We are very pleased to collaborate with ALEE and see great potential in combining our testing expertise with ALEE's homologation experience."
