ALEE - Alliance of European Test Laboratories GmbH and the Emitech Group are pleased to announce their new cooperation aimed at optimising vehicle and component type approval procedures thro
The Emitech Group announces the creation of an Innovation Department, dedicated to researching and implementing innovative solutions to prepare the future of testing. The mission of this new organisation, which emphasises the need for partnerships with academic contributors as well as industrial players, is to position Emitech at the forefront of the testing sector, anticipating tomorrow's needs and responding to today's challenges with creativity, agility and expertise.
On Tuesday, February 13, the Emitech Group acquired new premises in Beaumont-le-Roger, Normandy. Located 50 km from Rouen, this site is intended to host the Group's sustainable mobility activities.
The Emitech Group, leader in testing and training, announces the renewal of its Qualiopi accreditation for a further three years. This accreditation illustrates our ongoing commitment to excellence and quality in our training programmes.
Located in the heart of the North Franche Comté automotive cluster, R&D Moteurs was inaugurated on October 28, 2011 in Brognard.
Created by Mr. Bruno Courtalon, the company has been dedicated from the very beginning to the development of engines for "clean vehicles", a tailor-made mission for this former PSA engineer in charge of the development and tuning of internal combustion engines.
In 2017, R&D Moteurs joined the Faurecia Group and became one of its testing centers for the development of pollution control solutions.
The Emitech Group participates in the development and validation of various mobility solutions with its test benches dedicated to powertrains and its engineering and testing capabilities in environment (climatic, mechanical, physico-chemical), electromagnetic compatibility, acoustics and more.
Testing vehicle components in operation is an important area of development for the Emitech Group.
Emitech's EMCEM (ElectroMagnetic Characterization of Electrical Motor) test facility aims to characterize an electric vehicle motor from an electromagnetic compatibility perspective. It is the result of the know-how of the various subsidiaries that make up the Emitech Group. One of the operational branches, works on current and future mobility solutions. Its expertise in the design and validation of electric, hybrid and traditional powertrains has led to the development of highly dynamic benches that simulate the entire powertrain as well as the road profiles required for the various design and validation stages. The second operational branch of the Group corresponds to the various laboratories and engineering services whose purpose is to qualify equipment in relation to its expected life profile or to homologate the equipment. Among the areas of expertise is EMC or Electromagnetic Compatibility.
The synergies between these areas of expertise have resulted in the new EMCEM test facility, which is unique in Europe.

Lefae is the Emitech Group's laboratory specializing in environmental testing with severe constraints: fire testing and combined climatic testing. Based in Saint-Chamond in the Rhône-Alpes region, it has just qualified a new testing facility for verifying the conformity of equipment installed in potentially explosive zones (equivalent to ATEX requirements) in the presence of hydrocarbon fluids and vapours. Conditions of explosivity are often found in the aeronautics industry, but also in the automotive and marine industries.
Within the framework of the CB scheme, Emitech's international certification service has just been recognized as a NCB (National Certification Body). lt can now manage laboratories in the network, the CBTL (Certification Body Testing Laboratory), and deliver thanks to their reports, CB certificates recognized in the member countries.

Adetests is dedicating part of its new premises to testing the resistance of equipment to decontaminants in the context of NRBC. This subsidiary of the Emitech Group, whose laboratories are located at Saint-Chamond in the Loire region, carries out mechanical (vibration, shock) and climatic (hot, cold, humidity, VRT, solar radiation, altitude, etc.) tests in the aeronautical, space, rail, automotive and military sectors.
