Adetests is dedicating part of its new premises to testing the resistance of equipment to decontaminants in the context of NRBC. This subsidiary of the Emitech Group, whose laboratories are located at Saint-Chamond in the Loire region, carries out mechanical (vibration, shock) and climatic (hot, cold, humidity, VRT, solar radiation, altitude, etc.) tests in the aeronautical, space, rail, automotive and military sectors.
Particularly well-known and recognized for its defense-related activities, which account for half of its sales, Adetests' move from Saint-Etienne to its new, more spacious premises coincided with a need on the part of its customers in the defense sector, who no longer wished to carry out this type of testing on their own premises. This subsidiary of a major armaments group masters numerous technologies against nuclear, radiological, biological or chemical threats, and its product range covers detection (chemical or biological), individual protection (gas masks, filter cartridges, etc.) and collective protection (air treatment systems, air conditioning and filtration, integrated into vehicles or buildings). It is therefore by integrating this customer's know-how and needs that a room dedicated to testing the resistance of equipment to decontaminating products has been integrated into its new premises.
Adetests is the only private laboratory in France to carry out these tests, which guarantee the resistance of military equipment to decontamination products in the event of chemical or bacteriological attack.
Adetests has built and inaugurated 100 m2 of new laboratories, ventilated and equipped with specific equipment. This large floor space enables tests to be carried out on bulky equipment such as small armored vehicles or trailers, as well as on small items of equipment. All effluents are recovered and reprocessed, so there are no discharges into the environment. A technician has been recruited and trained for these campaigns, along with another Adetests employee.
This makes Adetests the only private laboratory in France to carry out these tests, which guarantee the resistance of military materials and equipment to decontamination products in the event of chemical or bacteriological attack. In the current geopolitical context, such risks are unfortunately on the increase.
These decontamination product resistance tests mainly meet NATO STANAG 4370, American MIL-STD 810 and French GAMEG-13 standards.
About Adetests
Adetests is a private laboratory opened in 2005, located in Saint-Chamond (42) in the Rhône-Alpes region. Our facilities enable us to carry out mechanical (vibration, shock) and climatic (hot, cold, humidity, VRT, altitude, etc.) tests in all fields: aeronautics, space, military, rail, automotive, etc.
Our facilities include climatic chambers, vibratory chambers, shock machines, vacuum equipment and acoustic equipment;
Adetests joined the Emitech Group in September 2010. Our team's know-how was previously built around the Montblanc Technologie Group's areas of expertise in protection in severe dynamic environments such as vibration, shock and thermal: temperature, humidity, etc...
Our laboratory can also carry out noise measurements, on-site measurements, complete qualification campaigns, contamination by fluids, solar radiation, salt spray, etc. Solutions can also be provided in terms of damping (suspensions, shock absorbers) and structural analysis, in synergy with the Emitech group.
Standards commonly used are : RTCA DO160, MIL-STD-810, STANAG 4370, NF EN 60068, etc.
For comprehensive support of your environmental testing needs, our services are complemented by those provided in EMC, radio and electrical safety by the various Emitech Group centers, notably Chassieu near Lyon and Montpellier in the south of France.
