It is absolutely crucial that companies realise the potential impact which a lack of regulatory information can have on their market release schedules, and the additional expenditure such problems can incur.

Regulatory information for CE Marking

Our CE marking activities represent an important part of our services at Group level. Because European regulations are constantly evolving, we have developed a real commitment to developing information dissemination: 

• Our specialists regularly take part in technical days, seminars, etc. organised by us, in collaboration with partners or third parties such as Chambers of Commerce and Industry in order to present the latest developments in the context of CE marking.
• Our technical management also sends out regular email newsletters on upcoming changes.
• Our training department offers courses dedicated to European regulations.
• Our test laboratories issue estimates accompanied by a regulatory analysis offered on the product to be tested.

For complex projects or for start-ups or newly created companies, we recommend dedicated engineering services in order to take the right measure of the challenge represented by the CE marking of a product.

Emitech is a Notified Body under the EMC and Radio Directives.

The EU Type Examination Certificate issued by a Notified Body under the RED Directive is accompanied by a follow-up on the applicable regulatory changes since the Notified Body has to monitor the validity of the certificates it issues.
