Fluid susceptibility contamination testing

There a several different names for these tests: fluid susceptibility testing, fluid contamination testing, etc.

These tests concern all equipment likely to come into contact with generally fluid contaminants, during normal use or in an accidental situations.

The main fluids come from environments encountered in the aeronautical, automotive and military sectors and are classified by family:

fuels
lubricating oils
solvents and cleaning liquid
de-icing liquid
insecticides
waste water

The Emitech Group's test benches make it possible to carry out tests on samples or complete and functional equipment according to various application procedures:

spraying
immersion
coating

including storage periods, and requiring specific fluid temperatures according to the main standards RTCA DO160, MIL-STD810, ISO 16750, PSA B21 7130...

On request, combined tests can be carried out (mixture of fluids: dust, oil, steam and salt solution...).

Design of test tools

The Emitech Group has an Engineering Department (Emitech, based at Montigny near Paris) and an Innovation & Applications Department (based at Environne'Tech) dedicated to developing testing tools for the group's internal use and on behalf of clients who are keen to equip themselves with technology that integrates the experience and expertise of a respected test centre. This expertise is focused primarily on mechanical environments and climatic conditions.
