This Eddy Current bench (stationary bench) was initially designed to characterise propeller engines. The bench has a high capacity air inlet and outlet allowing propeller operation and noise reduction. Aircraft engines can be tested in propeller configuration or with a load (brake) machine. In 2019, this test bed was renovated by in-house teams to accommodate automotive testing.
